Author Talks

Would you like to inspire your children?
Do you want to encourage them to discover the joy of reading?

Then why not book me for an author visit.

My visits are based on one of my picture books and linked to a theme for example 'A Book For Bramble' can be linked to the theme of friendship. A typical session can include:

	Reading from chosen book
	Q and A section
	Practical project based on chosen theme e.g. friendship

As part of fee I supply a slide show to support Q and A section plus supporting paperwork for chosen theme, for example a template for a friendship chain.

My rates are as suggested on the Society of Author website:

	£150 per single session (not to exceed an hour)
	£250 per half-day visit
	£350 per full-day visit
	Travel expenses (first 15 miles free then 49p per mile)

I am a member of SOA (Society's of Authors), NAWE (National Association of Writers in Education), have full insurance and an up-to-date CRB certificate. I cover an area within a twenty-five mile radius of Stansted Airport (junction 8 off M11).
